Sigma Theta Psi (ΣΘΨ) is a multicultural, academic, and social sorority founded at San Jose State University in 1991. The Sigmas are known for their work with Breast Cancer awareness throughout local campuses and communities. The sisterhood was created to embrace and celebrate cultural diversity, and is rooted in the principles of respect, honesty, open-mindedness, loyalty, leadership, and academic excellence.
